DAY 01 : DEPART FOR CHRISTCHURCH
Late evening flight to Christchurch via Auckland.

DAY 02 : ARRIVE AUCKLAND/ CHRISTCHURCH (D)
Upon arrival in Auckland, transit to Christchurch. Tour of the Garden city of Christchurch featuring Avon River, Cathedral Square, Downtown, Hagley Park and Cashmere Hills.

DAY 03 : CHRISTCHRUCH/ QUEENSTOWN (B/L/D)
Cross the Canterbury Plain to beautiful Lake Tekapo. Visit an orchard farm in Cromwell. View Mt Cook from Lake Pukaki lookout point. Enjoy a Chinese seafood dinner tonight.

DAY 04 : QUEENSTOWN (B)
Whole day left free to explore “LORD OF THE RINGS” film location.

DAY 05 : QUEENSTOWN/ CHRISTCHRUCH (B/L/D)
Visit to historical and popular gold mining Arrowtown. Tour to Gibbstone Valley Winery and sample tasting of their award winning wines. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner tonight.

DAY 06 : CHRISTCHURCH/ WELLINGTON (B/D)
Fly to the Capital City of Wellington. Wellington city tour  featuring Parliament building, downtown, Port Nicholson, Mt Victoria, and the Papa National Museum.

DAY 07 : WELLINGTON/ TAUPO/ ROTORUA (B/ L/ HANGI D)
Scenic drive along the Kapiti Coast and across the Rangitikei Gorges to army worship of Waiouru. Then drive through dramatic volcanic landscape of the Tongariro National Park featuring towering active Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Tongariro. Next, view Lake Taupo, the largest lake in the country and tour the resort township. View the majestic Huka Falls and the massive Geothermal Power Project at Wairakei. A visit to the damed Whajarewarewa Maori Arts and Crafts Institute is next. Finally enjoy a lively Maori Cultural Show and the traditional cooked (Hangi) dinner.   

DAY 08 : DEPART HOME (B)
Transfer to airport for your early departure.
