NORTHERN THAI EXPLORER
05 DAYS  & 04 NIGHTS  (CHIANGMAI/ CHIANGRAI)

DAY 01 : DEPART FOR CHIANGMAI  (D)       Meet and greet upon arrival at the Chiang Mai Airport. Transfer to hotel to check in. Rest of day is free at leisure. Enjoy a Khan Toke Dinner with cultural performances is served.

-          DAY 02 : CHIANGMAI/ CHIANGRAI/ CHIANGMAI (B/L/D)
Depart by Coach to Chiang Rai, located at the northern tip of Thailand. Continue to Mae Sai border and the Golden Triangle; the mystical meeting point of 3 national borders (Thailand, Laos, & Myanmar), historically connected to opium and heroin trade. Return to Chiang Mai in the evening.-                     

DAY 03 : CHIANGMAI (B/L/D)
Visit Home Industries for some Traditional Thai Handicrafts. Note that Northern Thailand has a thriying home industry. Local handicraft ranges from wood carving, umbrella, painting, leather making to extensive jewelry craft. See how they are produced and buy souvenirs or two. Continue to Doi Suthep Temple Tour. After dinner, stroll along the largest night bazaars in Chiang Mai for some local bargain.

DAY 04: CHIANGMAI (B/L)
This morning, catch elephants at work at the Elephant Camp. Rest of the free.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE HOME (B)
Free program until your airport transfer for departure flight.
